She pulls through the day acting like she’s happy, they all envy the prospect that she doesn’t have a worry in the world.
She listens to their stories of their pain empathizing with them, knowing too well what they’re going through.
She lays awake wondering why she had to be hurt, time and time again.
She stares into the darkness, wondering if there really is light at the end of the tunnel.
She cries at night, when nobody but Allah can see.
She thinks she’s alone…but she’s not.
Sometimes in our dispair we forget that others are going through what we going through. Just like we act like everything is cool, and like we’re pulling together fine, others are acting the same way. You’re not alone in the pain you suffer. Even though its hard to talk verbally at times, find a way of getting your point across through writing to your loved ones. And never forget, Allah comes to the lowest heaven at the last third of the night and its one of the times when our duas are accepted, so always turn to Him.
