We judge people by how we ourselves are. Regardless of the fact that we are filled with imperfections, we hold this notion that we are the image of moral perfection. Whatever we do is acceptable for others to also do. But we prohibit, others should refrain from as well. Don’t judge a person by your own personal standards, but rather by the standards of the Quran and Sunnah. It’s hard to do, but it saves you from letting your blood boil over (and *cough*backbiting*cough*) and going “Omigosh, can you believe what so-and-so did?!”
You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view… Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it.
